Aurolab established its Spectacle Lens Division to provide manufacturing support for the optical shops at Aravind Eye Hospitals. Plastic and glass lens surfacing and edging facilities are set up close to optical shops at all Aravind Eye Hospitals. The availability of the production facilities helps the optical shops provide better customer service and high quality products. These laboratories also supply a range of low vision spectacle lenses to low vision clinics in the hospitals.
